Ground Training Subsidy
Rates: ground school with Get Inspired Ground is $50/hr, billed by the 1/10th hour, and classes have a one hour minimum; and
Subsidy: Get Inspired Flight is investing in my training by offering a flight instruction subsidy to reduce the hourly rate of my flight lessons in conjunction with my ground instruction with Get Inspired Ground; and
Eligibility: this program is for Get Inspired Flight students seeking a Sport Certificate who are also on the regular schedule for ground school with Get Inspired Ground and who continue to receive benefit from such ground school as determined by the instructor; and
Application: the subsidy will be applied to the first flight lesson (aircraft or simulator) occurring after a completed ground lesson, and lessons in an airplane have a subsidy of $50/hr, while lessons in the simulator have a subsidy of $25/hr; and
Banking: subsidies are not banked, and only one subsidy is carried forward to my next flight lesson -- if I don’t use it then I will lose it; and
Communication: I will make every effort to communicate with my ground instructor in scheduling and keeping my lesson appointments. Madison can be reached at 678-666-0266 via call or text or at [email protected] via email; and
Cancellation: if my ground lesson is cancelled or rescheduled and does not occur prior to my next flight lesson, no subsidy will be applied at that flight lesson, and Madison will do her best to work with reschedule requests but no guarantee is made regarding providing an alternate date/time; and
Phases: ground school has four phases -- Knowledge Test Prep, Initial Solo Prep, Cross-Country Prep, Checkride Prep -- and I am expected to participate in all of them under this subsidy program; and
Graduation: upon completion of all phases, I will be graduated from the program and will no longer have a recurring ground school lesson nor be eligible for the subsidy discount; and
A la carte: even if I do not choose to take advantage of the subsidy program and even after graduation, I am encouraged and welcome to take advantage of ground school lessons through Get Inspired Ground.
