The Team
Laura and David T-G
Laura and David share a love of aviation. In 2008, they trained together for their Private Pilot's licenses, and they earned them on the same day! While David worked his day job as a Systems Architect to support their family, Laura worked on furthering her aviation career by achieving her Instrument Rating, Commercial license, Advanced Ground Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor certificates, on her way to Certified Flight Instructor. Along the way, Laura and David discovered the wonderful world of Sport Flying. From their perspective, the Sport Pilot enjoys the thrills and challenge of flight without the push that comes from the road to Air Transport Pilot (though it can take there as well). They wanted flight training to be fun! So Laura switched gears and earned her Sport Pilot Airplane Instructor certificate, and David soon followed. In June of 2018, they both earned their FAA Light Sport Repairman certificates to have a better handle on the maintenance of their aircraft. They very much enjoy teaching and selling smiles:-)!

Madison Restrepo
In 2008, Madison got to experience her parents’ Private Pilot flight training as a fly on the wall, and was bitten by the aviation bug as well! In high school, she studied for and passed her Private Pilot Knowledge Exam and even got a few hours of instruction under her belt – in a Beechcraft Skipper, Cessna 172, and Cessna 182. After falling off the wagon for a few years, she recently attained her Advanced Ground Instructor license and will be operating Get Inspired Ground, LLC to teach ground school for Sport, Private, and (eventually) Commercial certificates.

Safety First!
Get Inspired Flight are conservative pilots & instructors and always put safety first. They find the open sky infinitely safer than the confined, crowded, and close hazards of speeding cars on the ground. They only fly within the limits of their aircraft and their training & experience. They are both FAA Certified Light Sport Repairmen, and they diligently maintain their aircraft at or above FAA maintenance standards. However, NO amount of diligence, maintenance, and experience can eliminate ALL risks. They have no interest in hurting themselves, nor their equipment, nor YOU. But please be aware that when you climb into an aircraft you will be taking a risk both on the ground and above it. Accidents happen. Get Inspired Flight work to instill in their students a healthy respect & careful management of all risks involved in flight, as well as to prepare their students for the unexpected.
